175,000 Rice and Slow Cookers are being Recalled due to Electrical Problems which can cause shocks and fire hazards.  The Rice and Slow Cookers are sold under the name 3 Squares. The model numbers are:

  • TIM3 MACHIN3 Model 3RC-3010S (with Fixed Power Cord)
  • TIM3 MACHIN3 Model 3RC-3020S (with Fixed Power Cord)
  • TIM3 MACHIN3 Model 3RC-9010S (with Fixed Power Cord)
  • TIM3 MACHIN3 TWO Model 3RC-5020
  • MINI TIM3 MACHIN3 Model 3RC-3434

The item were sold at the following:

Home, hardware, mass merchandisers and department stores nationwide and online at Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Costco, Get3Squares, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Target, Wayfair and other websites from December 2015 through July 2016 for between $30 and $70, depending on the model and capacity.

The 1MIllion Project launched by Sprint and the Sprint Foundation plans a multi year program to give Mobile Devices and Internet Access to 1 Million Low Income High School Students. The plan is aimed at helping High Schoolers with homework who do not currently have internet access at home. In conjunction with nonprofits, Sprint plans to give out a  free phone, tablet, laptop or hotspot, as well as 3GB of LTE data each month to help bridge that gap for students who cannot access the internet at home. Kraft-Heinz is Recalling Ready to Eat Ham & American Cheese Cracker Stackers Due to Misbranding & Undeclared Allergens. It contains Wheat & soy both of which are undeclared known allergens. They were produced on September 21.

Nestlé USA, Inc. is initiating a voluntary recall of its Nestlé Drumstick Club 16 count Variety Pack and 24 count Vanilla Pack (with cones marked for easy individual sale) due to a possible health risk. The two pack sizes contain 4.6 fl.oz. cones and were manufactured in Bakersfield, Calif. and distributed nationally. No other production codes, sizes or varieties of Nestlé Drumstick products are affected by this recall.

The company received positive test results for Listeria monocytogenes (LM) from equipment contact surfaces from a location on the production line where these products are made. There have been no positive test results for LM present in the Drumstick cones themselves.
